On Thursday, May 4th from 11 A.M. until 12 Noon we will again commemorate the National Day of Prayer
by assembling at the Lavon Drive Baptist Church 1520 Lavon Garland, Texas 75040, and praying.
Come early to browse tables of area Non-profits and community organizations.

For well over twenty years, we have observed the National Day of Prayer on the first Thursday in May. We were first established and led by Sandra Dinkins, assisted by her husband Hart Dinkins, Five years ago, Dorothy Brooks became the Coordinator. We began by meeting on the Square. Moved to the Atrium and am now meeting in the lovely renovated sanctuary of Lavon Baptist Church.
