I have lived in Longview East Texas for the past forty years. I married in 1983 to Sonya Rogers. I have one married daughter, Chelsea, son in law Josh and three grandchildren, Jack 9, Laura 7 and Maddie 4 who live nearby. When I'm not spending time with the grandKids, I enjoy cycling, gardening, and hiking. Looking forward to our reunion! |

I’ve been Nan Nance for about 46 years now! ❤️Bruce and I dated briefly during the beginning of our Junior year at Sunset. After graduation I went on to study at DBC (Dallas Baptist College) and was surprised to get a call, out of the blue, from Bruce one January day in my Junior year of nursing school! We dated and were married after I graduated DBC in 1978. Our daughter and son, along with their spouses, have given us 2 young grands who are still under ten years old. Well, make that 3! Our son and daughter in-law are officially expecting!! What blessings from God they all are to us! I took an early retirement in 2014 after 36 years at Children’s Medical Center Dallas and we headed to East TX to help our parents through some health issues. I’m so thankful to still be available to help my sweet, almost 95 year old mom, who is thriving in assisted living in Tyler. I also spend time volunteering at the local food pantry, helping with the special needs kids and adults at our church and enjoy traveling with my sweetie. I guess as a child I always wanted to be a nurse and God led me to have a fulfilling career that also allowed me to work part time once our kids came along. How about you? Did you end up working in the field you thought you would? I can’t wait to see and visit with all of you! |
