Joann and l spent many hours laughing, singing duets and trios as well as sketches together at church, enjoying sack lunches while hiking 5 mile and 10 mile creeks, and sharing our innermost secrets. She was one of my best friends and losing her at 25 years old was way too soon. I learned very early what a great loss it is to lose such a close friend . A day doesn’t go by that l don’t think of her and treasure those times and memories. I still miss her and our friendship.
