Obituary Jefferson Iowa: Funeral services were held Saturday, May 7, from Jefferson for Cindy Lou Greene, Kathmann, 22, of Ames. The Rev Clarence Kruse of Williams officiated. Mrs Duane Ogren was soloist,accompanies by Mrs Lee Sloan. Casket bearers were Phillip Lawton Jr, Terry Schultz, Floyd Penkhus, Richard Pille, Merle Andrew and Larry Blackburn. Interment was in Jefferson Cemetery. Cindy Lou Greene daughter of Gene and Marjorie Blackburn Greene, was born July 23 1954, in Jefferson and died , May 3, in Ames. Cindy was reared in Ames and graduated for Ames High School. She then attended Area XI Community College and was later employed by Bournes. She has worked the past several years in data processing at Iowa State University. Cindy was united in marriage with William Kathmann on February 23, 1973, in Ames. They have made their home there since. Cindy is survived by her husband, William; her parents Gene and Marjorie Greene of Ames, and one brother, Charles Greene of Dubuque.
