erry Lynn Kline was born August 9, 1954 to Keith and Wilma (Simmons) Kline in Grinnell, Iowa. Terry attended Ames High School. He was a classic sci-fi buff and loved robots. He was very interested in video and video mixing. He did video and archiving for the band Gomers as well as other groups and organizations. He was employed at the Overture Center for the Arts in Madison primarily as stage electrician. He was a member of the IATSE Local 251 stagehands Union. There's an expression in the theater to put out the ghost light. The ghost light is the last bright light at the end of the stage put out before leaving. Terry's final wish was to put out the ghost light. Terry passed away at 61 years of age on January 18, 2016, at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison. Terry is survived by his father, Keith Kline of Ames; and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Wilma in 2003; and his sister, Rebecca Kline in 1962.
