
Mark Litchfield

Mark was born May 7, 1954, in Ames, the son of Charles Edward Litchfield and Janis Louise (McKim) Litchfield. He graduated from Ames High School in 1973 and worked for Carney’s Auto Salvage in Ames.
Mark was a member of ABATE of Iowa. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, working on cars, playing his guitar and camping. He will be remembered for his selfless nature and always putting others needs before his.
Mark is survived by his mother, Janis Diehl of Nevada; his sons: Matt (Anna) Litchfield of Nevada, Anthony (Matthia) Kemp of Zearing, and Roger Roberts of Harrisburg, PA; his daughters, Jenny (Landon) Earles of Nevada and Michelle (Joe) Fullerton of Nevada; his brothers, Ken (Sharon) Litchfield of Salem, OR, and David (Sara Hilton) Litchfield of Kelley; 10 grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father and his sister, Diane Litchfield.
A celebration of Mark’s life will be 12:00-3:00 p.m., Saturday, November 20 at George’s Pizza (1220 6th Street) in Nevada. Cremated remains will be placed in the columbarium at the Nevada Municipal Cemetery in Nevada at a later date.
