He was born in New Orleans on September 4, 1953, to Sidney and Ruth (Blanchard) Joseph Sr. The Joseph family moved to Ames, Iowa. He graduated from Ames Senior High School, Ames, IA 1973. After the death of his father, the family relocated back to New Orleans. He was a graduate of Delgado Community College. Shelton primarily worked in retail and fast food. Obituary Jefferson Iowa: Funeral services were held Saturday, May 7, from Jefferson for Cindy Lou Greene, Kathmann, 22, of Ames. The Rev Clarence Kruse of Williams officiated. Mrs. Duane Ogren was soloist, accompanied by Mrs. Lee Sloan. Casket bearers were Phillip Lawton Jr, Terry Schultz, Floyd Penkhus, Richard Pille, Merle Andrew, and Larry Blackburn. The interment was in Jefferson Cemetery.

Jeffrey Brian Kellogg, 49, of New Hampton, formerly of Ames, died Sunday, May 23, at the Heritage Residence in New Hampton after an extended illness.

He was born June 29, 1954, in Ames, son of Bruce and Mildren Pritchard Kellogg. He graduated from Ames High School.

Survivors include his father of Ames' a brother, Chuck of Ottumwa; and two sisters, Alice Rippel and Cheryl Dunkin, both of Ames.

Services: 11 a.m. Thursday at Conway-Kolbet Funeral Home, New Hampton, with burial in Winterset Cemetery, Winterset. Friends may call from 9 a.m. until services Thursday at the funeral home.

Cynthia Ann Kingsbury, the daughter of Donald and Sophie (Olson) Sansgaard was born on April 17, 1955 at Mary Greeley Medical Center. She attended school in Ames and graduated from Ames High School in the Class of 1973. Cynthia worked at Danfoss until her retirement in 2012. She enjoyed gardening, bird watching, and spending time with her friends and family.

erry Lynn Kline was born August 9, 1954 to Keith and Wilma (Simmons) Kline in Grinnell, Iowa. Terry attended Ames High School. He was a classic sci-fi buff and loved robots. He was very interested in video and video mixing. He did video and archiving for the band Gomers as well as other groups and organizations. He was employed at the Overture Center for the Arts in Madison primarily as stage electrician. He was a member of the IATSE Local 251 stagehands Union. There's an expression in the theater to put out the ghost light. The ghost light is the last bright light at the end of the stage put out before leaving. Terry's final wish was to put out the ghost light. Terry passed away at 61 years...

Christine Ann Kunz was born April 10, 1954, and passed away September 12, 2022. She was raised on a farm near Alleman, Iowa, and the family moved to Ames when she was 10 years old. After high school graduation, Chris took training at Voc Rehab in Des Moines and worked as a CNA at Methodist for 9 years. From there she worked in the laundry at Heather Manor for the next 30-plus years.

In April 1982, she married Daniel Kunz, and they loved and helped each other for 35 years. Since Daniel’s passing, Chris weathered the changes of jobs and homes and found peace living at Elsie Apartments in downtown Des Moines. She was home again and could walk everywhere. Patricia Kay Lariviere, age 60, of Aurora, IL, passed away on February 19, 2016, after a short, intense battle with metastatic breast cancer.

Patty was born June 6, 1955, in Marshalltown, Iowa, the daughter of W.F. (Larry) and Esther I. Lariviere. She graduated from Ames High School in 1973, attended the University of Northern Iowa, and had a successful international career in retail. She was employed by Sears, Eddie Bauer, Escada, Home Depot, Gap, Brookstone, Target, the Village of Oswego, and J.C. Penney.
