Hard to believe it’s been 50 years since Bel Air High — and yet some memories feel like they happened just last week. I’ve got nothing but gratitude for the friends I made and the good times we shared. My favorite class was art with Mr. Bittle, who I had all four years. His recommendation that I apply to Parsons School of Design ended up being one of the most life-changing moments of my life. That’s where I met Kim — and this October we’ll celebrate 46 years of marriage. I’m still pretty proud that out of 750 seniors, Jill Parslow and I were voted “Most Mischievous.” Looking back, maybe that mischievous streak set the tone for all kinds of unexpected adventures — including when my daughter Jennifer and I became contestants on NBC’s The Biggest Loser. Life has a wild way of connecting the dots. |
