2011-01-30Dearest sweet Anita: it pains me to learn here that you're no longer with us! You were a wonderful fun-loving childhood friend who understood how to make me laugh; I loved visiting your house, the liveliness, the hustle & bustle of it. I always looked up to your gorgeous older sister Cecilia, and was eternally grateful to her for convincing my mother how safe it was to get my ears pierced with those crazy self-piercing sleepers. I'll always remember going to my first 'slumber' party at your home, all the crazy fun & shenanigans we had, and how enthralled & proud I felt as I watched you play with such poise and gusto the family accordion, a skill you learned from your father. You were kind and beautiful, and you'll always remain so within me.
