Dear Walter: I'm truly sorry to see that you're no longer with us. I remember happily bumping into you at the Regatta Jazz Club in Cambridge to hear the outstanding, masterful John McLaughlin play. That was when Raffa and I first first moved back here from Milan, and it was really wonderful to catch up with you then, and to learn that you were actively playing. You were genuinely a kind person and a very talented guitarist, qualities I always admired about you Walter, and I know that you're out their in the universe still making great music.
