REXFORD - Elio Micheli Jr., 40 of Dutch Meadow Lane, died Wednesday at home after being stricken.
Born in Albany, Mr. Micheli was a graduate of Shaker High School and Hudson Valley Community College with a degree in construction technology. Mr. Micheli lived in Saratoga for seven years before moving to Rexford eight years ago.
He worked in the family business of Micheli Contracting Corp. in Rensselaer as a supervisor for the last twenty years.
Mr. Micheli was a member of International Union of Operating Engineers Local 106.
Survivors include his wife of 15 years, Carolyn Muniak Micheli; a son, Dean Micheli of Rexford; two brothers, James E. Micheli of Guilderland, and Mark E. Mcheli of Waterford; three sisters, Marie Pezzolla of Guilderland, Patrice Else of Colonie and Denise Nichols of Kingston.
The services will be held 10 a.m. Friday at the Durfresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham, and at 11 a.m. a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Pius X Church, 23 Crumite Road, Loudonville.
Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Rensselaer.
