HALFMOON – Alan Dale Phoeonix, 44, of Guideboard Road, died suddenly on Monday, January 28, 2002 at Albany Memorial Hospital. He was born April 25, 1957 in Troy, the son of George and Elaine Dufty Phoenix of North Colonie. Alan was a graduate of Shaker Highh School. He worked as a maintenance mechanic at the Sisters of St. Joseph Provincial House in Latham for over seven years. He was previously employed by Shaho Incorporated in the fabrication department and AMI Maintenance of Albanyin Clifton Park. Alan was a NASCAR fan and really enjoyed camping in the Adirondacks. He was very dedicated to the Sisters of St. Joseph at the Provincial House.
Survivors, in addition to his parents, include four sons, Joshua Phoenix and Timothy McCarthy, both of Seattle, Christopher Joseph Proctor, both of Waterford; and a daughter, Elizabeth Proctor of Waterford. Other survivors include his best friend and soul mate Suzanne King of Halfmoon; three brothers, Paul Phoenix of Bought Corners, Bruec Phoenix of Halfmoon and Russel Phoenix of Cohoes; and two sisters, Deborah Hollenbach of Schenectady and Connie Peerce of Averill Park. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 8:00 p.m. at the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 Route 9 in Clifton Park. Relatives and friends are invitedand may call on Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
