
James (Jim) Pincher

KNOX - James C. Pincher, 42, died Tuesday, August 3, 1999 peacefully at his home in Knox. He was born in Albany, and graduated from Shaker High School in 1975. He was a senior fingerprint identification specialist for the New York State DJCS in Albany. He also had worked at the Bowlers Club in Latham and for Robert Marini Builders in Colonie prior to working for NYS. He was an avid bowler and well known for his bowling achievments. He was a coach for the New Scotland Pop Warner Football League and a former coach for the Berne Knox Westerlo Little League. He had a spirtual connetion to the outdoors that was well known to all that knew him, especially his love for hunting and fishing. He was a member of the Helderberg Rod and Gun Club.
Survivors include his wife, Lori Rauch Pincher; three sons, Tyson J. Pincher, James B. Pincher, and Seth J. Pincher, all of Knox. He was the beloved surrogate father of Andrew and Christopher Cilauro; son of James S. Pincher of Watervliet and the late Anne Riegel;brother of Ellen Fitzgerald of Colonie; and Michael Klum of Colonie; uncle of Heather, Christian and Courtney Fitzgerald; godfather of Joshua DiScipio; a bond of love existed between Jim and the DiScipio families.
A funeral service will be held Friday ay 8 pm. At the Fredenhall Funeral Home, 199 Main Street, Altamont. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 5-8 p.m.
