Retired Air Force Capt. Jeffrey R. Rich, 36, formerly of Albany, died Sunday in St. Mary's Hospice after a long illness.
Mr. Rich was born in Albany. He had been living in Rochester for the past five years.
He retired from the Air Force in 1988 on medical disability.
Mr. Rich was a member of the Greece Post 468 of the American Legion.
Survivors include his wife, Lisa Hollembaek Rich; a son, Jason Rich of Rochester; his mother, June Livingston of Albany; a brother, Joseph Rich of Albany; and two sisters, Deborah and Denise Rich, both of Albany.
A service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday in St. Charles Borromeo Church in Rochester.
A private burial will be held in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday in the Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road.
