Juanita had a very rewarding career as Administrative Assistant for seventeen years. She began her career at Ambassador, Inc and eventually oved to the Roosevelt School District Office. The last twelve years of her career were spent at Vallie View Elementary school where she freely gave love and inspiration to all the children . Her generous spirit flowed abundantly to all.

Juanita was proceeded in death by her loving father Pastor Herbert Smith, Sr. Those left to cherish her memory include her devoted mother Gloria Smith, and her siblings Kathleen, Herbert Jr., Janice, Shelly, Jonathan, David, Timothy, Samuel, Rachel, James, Bonnie and Charlotte
