| Fond Memory: My family moved many times when I was in school so I only spent my Senior year at GSHS. It was in Glenwood that I found life long friendships and felt that I was finally home. My fond memories are of the people of this class, that have touched my life throughout the years. | |

| Fond Memory: I so much enjoyed the beauty of the Glenwood Springs vicinity and Western CO. We classmates seemed, for the most part, to enjoy one another's company (most of the time!) and made great use of our proximity to the beauty of the area, even if we didn't realize it at the time. Heck, keggers at No Name don't happen in the city! | |

Highlight(s) of last 50 years:
- Served my country for 30 years as an officer in the greatest Air Force in the world, following four years at the Air Force Academy after our HS graduation. - Flew F-4 and F-15 fighter jets...there's no more fun you can have with your pants on! - Lived and worked all over this wide world. - Met some really awesome people of many nationalities, ethnicities and races; they all bleed red I discovered (i.e. we're all the same). - Met my wife Kim while I was stationed in Kuwait, following 9/11, and have been a changed man as a result of that. - Was saved heroically during a "green on blue" insider attack in Kabul, Afghanistan by a young Air Force officer who gave his life for mine and others. - Owned a boxing fitness club with Kim and learned much about business and myself. - Re-learned how much I love flying in my retirement gig as a flight instructor. - Started following Jesus in 1978, but finally gave Him my whole heart in 2014; he made me a new man from the inside...though my rough exterior edges still sometimes appear! |
