Fond Memory: Friends and muscle cars, simpler and more tolerant times.
Highlight(s) of last 50 years: Worked after high school for 11 years in the mineral exploration field throughout the west. Came back to the area in 1982 to operate a water well drilling service for people living in the country. Favorite hobbies are flying, especially in Alaska and the west (pilot since 1974), 4 wheeling, Moab and the San Juans, scuba diving, traveling, and geology.

What you're doing now: enjoying life after retirement, life in small quiet town, time spent outdoors camping, hiking, enjoying nature. Active in volunteer work, joining clubs and guilds.
Fond Memory: GSHS band concerts, marching in parades and playing at football and basketball games. Also drill team 'performances' while spending time with good friends.
Highlight(s) of last 50 years: I taught in Roaring Fork School District 9 grades 1-12, though mostly in middle school)for 29 years before retiring. I shared my love of photography with husband of 41 years (Rick), while co-owning and operating a photo studio, til the 1980's I've gotten involved in quilting, gardening, and teaching sewing to others during these years of retirement as we thoroughly enjoy life in the small town of Cedaredge.
