Deborah Sue Jones, 17, died 12 noon Sunday, Sept 9, 1973 in St Anthony Hospital of injuries when she was struck by a truck near her home Saturday night. Born Jan 27, 1956, in Rochelle, IL, daughter of Mr and Mrs. Stanley (Betty Rees) Jones. Lived 14 years in New Milford area. Member of New Milford United Methodish Church. She was a senior of Guilford High School and a member of the National Honor Society. Survivors include: her parents; one sister, Lisa, and one brother, Thomas, both at home; maternal grandparents, Mr and Mrs. Ward Rees, New Milford; paternal grandmother, Mrs. Edna Jones. Rockford; paternal grandfather, Olaf Kaalaas, Kirkland and maternal great-grandmother, Mrs. Sherman Burdick, Serona, WI. Burial in New Milford Cemetery.
