Patrick T Young, 19, died at 2.55 a.m., Monday, April 8, 1974 in St Anthony Hospital after a three-month illness. Born Dec 15,1954 in Warsaw, IN, son of Mr and Mrs Edward C Young. Lived 12 years in Rockford after coming here from Indiana. Employed in trainee program of Crankshaft Grinding Co. Member of Holy Family Catholic Church. Awarded a diploma from Guilford High School April 8, 1974 in special ceremonies at his hospital bedside. Survivors include: his parents; three brothers, Terrence, serving with the U.S. Air Force in Barksdale AFB, LA and Timothy and Scott, both of home; a sister, Karen, of home; and four uncles, an aunt, and 14 cousins.
