Homecoming Football Game
When: Friday, 10/4, 7:00pm
Where: LHS Football Field @ 708 W Park Ave.

Details:

  • Boys Varsity LHS Wildcats vs. Waukegan Bulldogs
  • Tickets can be pre-purchased at GoFan.co (Adults - $5), or at the gate (Adults - $6). See the website for ticket rates for children and seniors 65+, as well.
  • We’ll be seated in the first section of the bleachers closest to the ticket booth.
  • Arrive early! We recommend getting there by 6:30pm. At 6:40pm there will be a ceremony for new inductees to the LHS Athletic Hall of Fame, including one of our Class of ‘04 classmates.
  • Arrive even earlier if you’re a football fan! The LHS Boys Varsity Soccer team will be playing the Highland Park Giants at home at 4:30pm.

Informal Main Street Bar Crawl
When: Friday, 10/4, Post-Game
Where: Likely start at Mickey Finn’s @ 345 N Milwaukee Ave.

Details:

  • We’ll start at Mickey Finn’s, then make audibles about moves to Morgan’s or The Island.
  • Given it’s Homecoming weekend, and we may not be the only reunion in town, Main Street could be hopping. If at any point you need help or want to know where our group has headed, text a friend or Jocelyn (number provided in email to registered attendees).
  • There is a parking garage behind Mickey Finn’s. When in doubt, please prioritize safety – Uber and Lyft are both available in Libertyville.

Homecoming Parade
When: Saturday, 10/5, 9:30am
Where: In front of LHS on Route 176 / W Park Ave

Details:

  • Note the location change! We initially planned on meeting in Cook Park, but the parade route has changed in recent years and it no longer goes down Milwaukee Avenue.
  • The school officials recommend that you park in the school parking lot by 9:15am, then walk to the road in front of LHS where our group will view the parade. We’ll be right at the corner that turns into the school, in a grassy area on the other side of the fence to the baseball outfield. The parade will likely get to our location around 9:30am and wrap up around 10:15am.
  • We’ll have some donuts and coffee.

LHS Building Tour
When: Saturday, 10/5, 10:30am
Where: LHS @ 708 W Park Ave

Details:

  • Meet inside the front door of the main LHS entrance.
  • The tour will begin at 10:30am and lasts 45-60 minutes.
  • It will be led by Diane Phillips, and she may be joined by LHS Principal, Ray Albin. (You may remember Diane as our Assistant Principal and Ray as our science teacher!)
  • Diane has also kindly alerted the teachers – especially those we listed as ones who had an impact on our high school experiences – that our group will be coming into the building, in case any are available to be around and say hello.

Class Party!
When: Saturday, 10/5, 6:00pm
Where: Post Time Bar & Grille @ 13860 W Rockland Rd in Libertyville

Details:

  • The party will run from 6:00-9:00pm.
    • Heads up: We’ll take a group photo at 6:45 right before food is served, so come on time!
  • You’ll receive a nametag at entry which will serve as proof of your ticket purchase and access to entry, dinner, bar, and party experience.
    • For walk-ins, a ticket is required for the Class Party. Tickets at the door are $90.
  • Attire: Party attire, however you define it. From dresses and blazers, to the elder millennial classic of “jeans and a going out top,” come comfortable and ready to have a good time.
  • Classmates may bring a spouse, partner, or plus-one. Children are not permitted.
  • Ample parking is available at Post Time. When in doubt, please prioritize safety – Uber and Lyft are both available in Libertyville.
