Comment: Went to Towson and graduated with Bus Adm – Personnel but I really wanted accounting. Got a job in the Maryland State Police Finance Office and went to night school to get credits to sit for the CPA but didn’t. Left MSP to join the DPSCS Inspector General and rose from auditor to Deputy. During those years, I went into every county and city jail in the state! And almost every state prison. After many years, I needed to grow so I went to the Maryland Health Dept.’s Inspector General as the only auditor/investigator of Medicaid fraud and became a Certified Fraud Examiner. I became the supervisor of 12 auditors and investigators. Loved that job!
