I just celebrated my lingerie stores 40th Anniversary that I own with my sister, Mindi. I'm thrilled that my daughter, Lauren, is now working along with us. I have an adorable 4 1/2 year old granddaughter, Maisie, who lives in Baltimore & a 2 1/2 year old grandson, Charlie, who lives in Florida.. I have 3 bonus boys, daughter-in-law & grandson from my second marriage. I feel very lucky to have all this in my life. |

Although, regrettably, I will not be able to attend the Reunion, in consultation with Gary (who is planning to attend), and Steven (who, unfortunately cannot attend), I was elected in a close 2 to 1 vote to update folks on the Wais triplets! So here goes, from youngest to oldest (the three of us were born within a crazy frantic 15 minute period, with our parents expecting twins, until the doctor cried out: "Oh, my God, there's another"! ): Gary and his partner Perrie Walter split their time between Baltimore and Rehoboth Beach. Gary is almost retired from the law firm he co-founded which specializes in medical malpractice. Gary has two daughters, both NYU graduates, who never left NYC! Steven and his wife Jo (celebrating 34 years of bliss this October!), live in Balmville, New York, in the Hudson Valley, overlooking the Hudson River! After college Steven was an entrepreneur and then became a PE/Health Ed teacher in Baltimore City for 25 years. He retired about four years ago. Steven has three kids (graduates of Brown, Hopkins, and Stanford), including fraternal twins. All three kids live and work in Baltimore. My partner, Cecelia Cancellaro and I, split our time in Beacon, New York, overlooking the Hudson River (and about a five minute drive from Steven's house,) and Gramercy Park, in Manhattan. I retired three years ago after 18+ years as Senior VP at NYU. Prior to NYU, I served as Dean of Students at Stanford University and Assistant VP at the University of Maryland at Baltimore, overlooking Camden Yards. I have two daughters, a Stanford and an NYU/USC Law School graduate, who both live and work in NYC. The three of us remain extremely close and sometimes dress alike to confuse people. HUGE THANKS to our fellow classmates who coordinated our upcoming 50th Reunion and/or past reunions!!! BTW, I'm on the left, Gary is in the middle, and Steven on the right in both pictures. |
