I have worked in the non profit field of development and fundraising for my entire career, more specifically in animal welfare for the last 16 years. As a reunion committee member, our mission for this reunion is not only for classmates to reunite with old friends, but to meet classmates that you never knew. People keep telling me I look like Ryan Gossling. Personally, I don't see it, but what are ya gonna do? So, looking at classmate profiles - I am absolutely awestruck by who and what everybody became, what everybody accomplished in careers, in life, and in family. Simply amazing - and reading all of your profiles actually gives me a positive feeling of hope for the future. I am glad I took the time to read them. Me ... all of the details aside - 'cause who cares, really ... I think basic average amount of trauma and tragedy that occurs in everyone's life but far outweighed by all of the peace and love and joy of a truly blessed life. I can't complain (although I always do) ... my wife is the greatest person on the planet, two children and their spouses are just wonderful caring and successful people, and first grandchild is due on October 5th. Thanks for allowing me to read about you all - whether I remember you a little or a lot! What an amazing group of people you all are! Thanks .... Berni (nobody has called me that since 1974.) |
