Harry Crossfield

Harry Crossfield

2005-04-28

Harry died of lung cancer.
Mike Wisniewski wrote: I remember when Harry first started at NA. There was somewhat of a commotion on all the ramps from a lot of the girls because of his “blue-Paul-Newman-bedroom eyes”! I certainly didn’t understand that & neither did any of the other guys! Harry made friends with Jay Possavino, Gary Diederich and Mike Johnstone and we soon all started hanging out on weekends. Those exploits would fill volumes-cars, concerts, ping pong, pool, parties at Pitt…and of course, talks about girls. Harry’s family was impressive. They had an old school southern charm that was so inviting. He was a natural philosopher who could reduce any topic or issue to its fi...

Dick died at age 63 in Erie, PA of cancer. Mother Earth unexpectedly lost a best friend. Dick was relieved of his long-held duties of exceptional father, grandfather, brother and friend to all who knew him. Born in the Suburbs of Pittsburgh. In life, Richard wore many hats. Most of his professional career was spent as the Vice President of Sales of a family owned manufacturing company in Erie, Bu-Tech Pressure Systems. That opportunity gave him the ability to travel the world and gain a cultural perspective that would later become a footnote to a life spent helping people. More notably, Richard served humanity. He did so as a poet, a carpenter, an artist, a musician, a philosopher, a teach...

Jane Farr (Farr)

1998-04-29

Jane died at age 44, living in Carol Stream, IL. At our 10th reunion she was a Financial Institution Examiner.
Carroll Hauck McGowan wrote: Of all the people in our graduating class, I have probably thought of Jane the most. Here's why: I have a scar on my face from her. It was an accident of course. She was gesturing with her hands as she was talking, and her fingernail took off a little piece of skin on my face. It created a small scar that has faded over the years, but is still just barely visible. It happened at the Ingomar North pool where most of my memories of Jane are from. There was a big group of girls in our class that hung out there in our junior high days. I seem to rem...
