George Milani

George Milani

George died just before Thanksgiving 2021.
Richard Link wrote: There was no obituary. George and I kept in contact over the years with phone calls every month or so and I did go visit him a few times. George lived in the Arlington TX area. The last year he lived with his one daughter in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. His wife passed away over a year before he did. George was a salesman of the highest form. He could and would sell anything. One thing though, he was a good friend to me. (George was a cousin of Dick Rodgers)

Susan Panagulias (Panagulias)

2004-02-28

Susan died from lung cancer.
Sue Simakas Schumacher: I was shocked & saddened when I heard that Sue had passed away. In junior high, Sue & I were close friends. She invited me, a fellow Greek, to join her family at a Greek Dance. We had such a blast—the best Greek dancing ever! Fast forward to 1986 in Atlanta...I was in a children’s shop & someone came up to me and asked, “Are you Sue Simakas?” How fun--it was Sue Panagulias! It was so great catching up…amazingly, we had both married “a Gary”, both had daughters named Christina, we both had a sibling who had died, & of course, both named Sue! It was a great “reunion”. But I am sad that although we planned to get together, I never s...

Joseph Pegher

2008-10-04

Joe died of a heart attack.
Deb Hoolahan Pegher (her husband is Joe's second cousin): It wasn't until after graduation that I got to know Joe Pegher-Not only was he a fantastic husband and father, he was a good friend to all who knew him. One thing about Joe was that he always had a smile and took the bad with the good. He and his wife (Carol) had nine great kids and when he lost her to breast cancer in '02 he continued raising the kids and kept things together. Joe is missed by all who had the pleasure to know him. It is an honor to have been his friend!
