Donald Rooks
1954-02-13 2009-01-17He was a bully until I got to know him. I know we teepeed his house and then when he found out, he laughed.
tribute by jan GarrisonIn her tribute to Donnie, Wendy mentioned Donnie was known for mischief and boy was that the truth! He was always getting into some kind of trouble and so were those hanging with him. He was also, at times, a bully. He beat me up more than once and yet, we still remained friends. Once we started playing inter school sports, he stopped bullying us and started terrorizing the players from the other schools. He went from being our bully to our protector. The transition brought us all closer together. I will never be able to think of my days at Brookview without thinking of him.
tribute by Scott KeeslingDonnie was the nickname we knew him as in the Brookview neighborhood. He was known for boyhood mischief. Donnie also carried a good heart.
