In the summer of 1971, Bob and I rode our bicycles to Yosemite Valley together, starting from our homes in San Jose/Saratoga. Bob chose to keep riding beyond Yosemite in an extended bike tour, while I stayed in Yosemite and explored. I am grateful for the adventure we had together!
