She was born on June 7, 1958, in Rome the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Robbottini) Totaro. She graduated from Rome Free Academy in 1977. She was married at one time to Alex Barone. She started her work career as a nurse at the Presbyterian Home in New Hartford and more recently worked as a supervisor for the Central Association for the Blind. Rosemarie was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. She had a great love for all kinds of music, enjoyed taking long rides in the countryside, and her animals, Jessie her fun-loving lab, and Jeter her mischievous cat.
