My bicycle has been a place to relax, explore and process for much of my life. My first bike was handed down from my sister, my dad used a broom handle to make it look like a boy's bike at our W. Armour Terr home. I got a ten speed in 1973 at our home on Belden. Freedom to get all around the Village. In 1974 I took my bike by train to Vermont for a summer school program, fun place to ride. That bike was stolen at the U of MN. Sara and I married while I was in college. After graduation we took a new bike to Mississippi for my first job building a lock & dam. Sara had a car, and I had a bike.

My saddest ride was thinking about my son needing to be in a body cast for a summer in the early 90's. But recently he joined me for an amazing ride up "Going to the Sun Road" in Glacier. My daughter and Dave Burrill have done multiple MS150 rides. On a typical weekend I ride to our construction projects. I'm still working but spend some time in Seattle with the grand kids. I look forward to hearing about your journey.

I graduated from U of MN in 1976 and from Hamline Law School in 1979. I met my late husband in law school. We got married during winter break in 1978 and took the bar exam together 7 months later. We were married 42 years when he passed away in 2021.



I have three great kids and five grandkids, living in Minnetonka, Washington, DC and Los Angeles.



I retired from the active practice of law in 2015 but still have a toe in the water doing mediation and parenting neutral work. Life is pretty good!

Comment: I've been married for 38 years. I have one daughter and a step son and step daughter. I love traveling to visit our daughter who has lived throughout the US and now is over seas, so I get to travel all over!!! I have a beautiful granddaughter (who is named after my Mom!!!) and two step grandchildren too. We also spend time at our Florida home in the winter. It's been busy and wonderful!!! I also want to thank the committee for their hard work at putting together such a wonderful 50 year reunion; they did a great job!!!
