30th Annual Walk-A-Thon

About This Event
Save the date for this year's 30th Annual Walk-A-Thon, Connecting Together, featuring a school-wide event on Friday, September 23rd, 2022, starting at 1:00pm.

This is Sunol Glen Community Club’s biggest fundraiser of the year! Last year we raised over $35,000 and we're planning on outdoing ourselves this year.
We need your help to raise funds for our school. However, we understand this may a tough time for many of our families and that includes financially. If you can give, please do.

The Community Club per student goal for each year is $300. We appreciate any and all donations. Our Walk-A-Thon is critical to the Community Club being able to continue to so generously support our kids!
All funds raised go directly back into classrooms and the school, and are tax deductible. Community Club is a 501©3 non-­profit organization.


Participation
The Walk-A-Thon will be an in-person event in which all students can participate. Students will walk or run around the track and be able to stop at several fun stations along the way. Adult volunteers will be able to help out, provided they are cleared by submitting a Volunteer Application, COVID vaccination status and TB Free Certification to the school.

We strive for 100% pledge participation as well. This is a great opportunity for students to raise money for programs that benefit them and to show School Spirit!

Incentives

  • Raise $300+ and receive a free event T-shirt AND meet the Community Club per student goal for the year
  • Raise $50+ and receive a free event T-shirt
  • Be the top lap earner in your class or in the whole school and receive a special award
  • Be the class with the highest per person lap average and receive a special award


Where Do I Start…
1. Create your Student's Personal Page (link here). This is where to select your student's t-shirt size.
2. Solicit pledges from family and friends by sending them the link to your Student's Page and asking grandparents, aunts, uncles, and friends to pledge their support.
3. Watch your Student's Page as pledges come in!

Set up your student page and collect at least $50 in pledges by Tuesday, September 6th in order to receive an event T-Shirt. (ALL T-SHIRT ORDERS DUE THIS DAY!)
