Steve and I were in school together at University Park, then TJ and Hamilton and back to TJ to graduation. I met Gary Houghton through Steve. We used to launch rockets in the big empty field that was at end of the street I lived on. I lived on Josephine, which dead ended at Yale Avenue. I could see if Steve and Gary were launching rockets from my house and I would go meet up with them. I remember the three German Shepherds Steve's family had and their antique cars that they restored and collected. I spent many an afternoon with Steve or with Gary Houghton. Sometimes it was the three of us, and sometimes Bob Stewart would come by or John Peterson, both now deceased. Steve was a good person and is truly missed.
