WHERE'S IT AT?
Landshark Bar & Patio – Lobby level (1) on the beach side of property
Compass Ballroom – 2nd floor above lobby. (stairs and elevator available)
ROOM RATE FOR SUNDAY – WEDNESDAY (c/o Thursday)
The room rate for your stay (if you used our event link) from 12/29/24 – 1/2/25 for anyone registered for this event should be just under $130/night INCLUDING ALL FEES. If at check in they try to charge you for parking, or a resort fee, tell them you are part of our group and it will be removed. It is rare they wave these fees, so we anticipate a hitch here and there for a couple of folks. If there is any problem with this let us know and we'll take care of it with management. IMPORTANT: If you booked through an outside source such as Priceline you will be charged these fees and we have no control over it. You must have booked directly with the resort using our event link to receive the discounted rate and no fees (other than taxes).
AIRPORT TRANSPORTATION
The nearest airport is Valley International Airport in Harlingen (HRL), 38 miles from Margaritaville.
South Padre Island Surf Shuttle is offering our group a discount. You'll receive 20% their normal rate of $75 for the first passenger, and $25 for each additional passenger for the one hour trip HRL to South Padre Island or South Padre Island to HRL. That means a group of 4 would only be $120 total each way. Use "RTR2025" in the Add Promo Code/Voucher box.
DRIVING IN IMPORTANT INFO
If you are driving in you should know there is a 60 mile stretch on I69 from Riviera to Raymondville that has ZERO services. No gas stations, no food, nothing! We recommend when heading south, before you leave Kingsville city limits be sure you have a good amount of fuel to make it at least 100 miles. (South Padre Island is 141 miles south of Kingsville but you'll hit plenty of services in Harlingen which is about 95 miles south of Kingsville.) There are also Texas Highwaty Partol folks along the way so do not speed!
DRESS CODE
The main New Year's Eve event in the ballroom will not have a specific dress code. You are welcome to dress is fancy or relaxed as you'd like. Tuxedos to tuxedo t-shirts, high heels to flip flops. Dress for a good time!
MARGARITAVILLE BEACH RESORT SPA DISCOUNT
Contact the Spa Manager Jimmy at 956-389-8888 to make appointment. Discounts range from 10%-20% depending on the service.
FOOD AND DRINK SPECIALS: (To receive discount, you must be wearing your event wristband and badge)
$10.99 Landshark Burger and Fries, $10.99 Fish(1) and Shrimp(3) w/Fries, $5.99 Beach Chips and Chips and Dip-½ price, $7.99 2 for 1 Mexican street Tacos(5)-Salty Rim Food Truck. $3.50 Fins up Margarita Frozen or Rocks, Landshark Draft 12oz $2.50 20oz $4.00, and Busch Lite can $2.00.
SEATING:
There will be 4 VIP tables and 1 Sponsor table at all events. Please, only those with yellow event wristbands and VIP / Sponsor badges should be sitting at those tables.
ADDITIONAL IMPORTANT NOTES:
We will be holding 50/50 raffles, a few raffle baskets, a silent auction, and a raffle for a Fender guitar signed bo ALL CORAL REEFERS. Charities benefiting will be The Trop Rock Music Association Artist Relief Foundation, Sea Turtle Rescue, and the Lone Palm Foundation. So if you are feeling generous have cash ready!
There will be no tickets issued for this event. Your name will be on a list at credential pickup. Please have ID ready. Yes, we know 99% of you, but we still need you to have an ID with you and show at check in. Credentials will include a wristband, badge, and lanyard. Remember, registration is non-transferable and non-refundable. We appreciate your understanding on this and if you can not attend consider it a donation to our chosen charities listed above.
