Umm, what are Azure hills? Looking forward to seeing everyone. I have three daughters (45) Nicole Actor- Writer - kind of a genius (origins unknown), Shelly (41) Orange County Firefighter, and Candice (38) 5x and current World Champion in Stand-Up Paddling World. Hamstrung by 'shyness' around girls- a lot of great and pretty one's from Peralta to VP, (we're all beautiful right?). Never went to a prom, homecoming, Sadie Hawkins- wow- did I miss out! Many great memories on baseball field with co-Spartan teammates and Coach Grable. See picture in photos. Sorry to shock you, but Kevin Costner said he couldn't make it this year. Perhaps the 70th- so hang tough everyone. Can't think of high school without mentioning my parents who were my heroes. They are with Jesus now. Married a girl (64- oops- I'm in trouble now) who is kind, like my mom- that's a beautiful thing. Still blessed with the same best friend of 56 years, Mike Emge, stellar as ever and lives nearby. Remembering some interesting (in many ways) teachers. Capable, fun, zany, odd and merciless (Algebra- Mr. Profit). It backfired having the brilliant Howard Matsukane provide my homework every day. Couldn't talk him into taking the test. Have grown out of shyness (excellent therapist referral upon request- doesn't work on a sliding scale), be forewarned. High School didn't start too well. Atop the balcony with books on the ledge, I reached to secure, and nooooo... the whole library descended upon the pretty head of Dianne Sabourin. When I ran downstairs with many apologies, concern and much trepidation- that sweet little sophomore threw the verbal book at me, a whole stack. Her dad must have been a Sailor. If you see Dianne with a brace on, please inform her there's a statute of limitations in Cali. Recalling the 30th or was it the 40th- reunion?? (my granddaughter said, "Papa, you forget a lot". I reassured her, "I'll never forget I love you!)" I can remember things 50 years ago, yet when looking for my phone, yikes- I'm on it- Do I have a witness? Where was I, oh Dianne- that Library missile descension at least, didn't knock the pretty out of her. So Sorry Dianne. Mark McMillian is a Physical Therapist, and there's got to be a Chiropractor amongst such a stellar group.
Oh, last thing- my four grandchildren (18, 15, 13&13) rock my world. I'm sure many of you can relate. A wonderful girl, Diane White, said in the Senior Yearbook (this is from memory) "sitting on top of the world would be a real drag, unless you have someone to sit by". Looking forward to a few nights sitting together, sharing life and memories. It's ok to embellish. It's protocol.

Left CA for NJ (not my decision) in December 1971, ended up a Rutgers U. Got married in 1982. Became an Art Director for an Indie record company, then ran my own graphic design studio for 28 years. I'm currently managing an apartment complex near Asbury Park, NJ. I've got 2 sons, 3 granddaughters, 1 dog. I am an avid bicyclist, and love a good single malt scotch. I've got a lot of good memories of growing up in Orange, but life in NJ hasn't been bad either.

My gun safes would get me arrested in Kalifornistan so no plans to ever go back.
Helped field a XR750 that finished 3rd at the 1993 Sacramento Mile. Highest a privateer ever finished against factory sponsored race teams.
Assembled IH 560 front end loaders & 350 Payhaulers for Union Oils oil shale project at Pieance Basin near Rifle, Colorado.
One of the few civilians to ever work at the US Navy's oil shale project at Anvil Points, Colorado.
Started Enginuity Enterprises Ltd. after a few stints at Harley Dealers where l called my own shots. Service Manager at two Harley Dealerships.
Left the Western Slope of Colorado when the 'beautiful people' started moving there.
Now 10 miles from Idaho and 30 to Canada surrounded by forests, lakes, rivers, huckleberries, wildflowers, and wildlife.
I can look out any window of my house and get a big smile!
Nearest Walmart is over 100 miles away, but free shipping. Perfect!

I am one of many classmates that still live in So Cal. I lived in Placentia with my husband for 30 years(we parted ways 15 years ago) and we raised two amazing sons who now live in San Diego and San Francisco. I feel quite fortunate to have had a variety of work, education and social opportunities that allowed me to meet truly remarkable and interesting people and to travel and see much of the United States.
I now live in the great city of Huntington Beach with my best friend and mate, Joe Anello.

I have had the good fortune to plan, coordinate and produce all sorts of fantastic events over the years. Ranging from sporting events such as marathons, gymnastics and surf competitions to social events that include Chili Cook Offs, Taste Fests, Holiday Tree Lighting, Halloween Festivals, Beer and Wine Tasting and Art Walks.

I'm very happy to once again be on the reunion planning committee for our VPHS Class of '73 50th Reunion in 2023.

High school reunions are interesting events. For some it is important to reconnect and renew past friendships. For others a time to reflect on fond memories of years gone by.

For me, I enjoy bringing people together that have a common history and provide opportunities for possibly a new friendship, romance or business connection. Maybe the reunion is just a great evening out away from the ordinary... another adventure of sorts.

After early graduation, I moved to Minneapolis (very Mary Tyler Moore-esqe). I started working for IDS
where I eventually met my husband. After a couple years, he took a new job that moved us to Milwaukee. My son, Joe, was born there in 1977. Following several vacations back to California, the lure became strong and we moved back. We divorced in 1985.

The majority of my working career has been spent in Commercial Real Estate Finance. I happily retired 2 years ago as Senior Vice President for Bellwether Enterprise. By then I’d had over 30 years’ experience in commercial mortgage banking; had served on the Asset Administration Committee of the MBA for three years; was included by Real Estate Southern California Magazine as one of the Most Powerful/Influential Woman in Commercial Real Estate for 3 years; and earned the MBA’s CCMS designation in 2013.

Surprisingly, retirement keeps me very busy…either that or I’m just slower at accomplishing everything! Happy to be able to say life is good!
