Followed VPHS with CSU Fullerton. Found out couldn't use a Psycholgy Degree with minor in Biology-so went to Nursing School. Married for a few years to the "original bad boy" (not from VPHS). Returned to school to become a PA in Orthopaedic Surgery for 15 years...but hours were brutal. Working again as an RN at VA Medical Center in Richmond, VA. Love the rain, trees, and deer on my front lawn, and on driving to work. Really enjoy looking at all the original pics from VPHS '73. |

Seems like a long time since high school… I don’t think I went to graduation since I graduated in January. I went to Goddard College in Vermont to become an elementary teacher. Then joined the Peace Corps in Liberia and Central Africa, taught is SLO and Solvang before joining Wycliffe Bible Translators and going back to West Africa and the Philippines to teach. After training as a counselor and getting married, I returned to the Philippines for many years. It’s always been fun to come back to OC and visit friends. But I’ve been happy to live in SLO for the last 6 years -(got an Master's here 40 years ago). I do come to visit my kids and 2 grandkids in So Cal and often get to see old friends… it’ll be fun to see everyone again. |
