Paul Douglas Wakeman, 67, of Manchester, passed away Oct. 15, 2014.
Doug was born Aug. 21, 1947, in Manchester, a son of Paul and Mary (Crossett) Wakeman, and had been a lifelong resident of this community.
Prior to retirement, Doug was a math and computer teacher at Manchester High School West for 42 years.
Family and service to God were at the center of Doug's life.
Family includes his wife of 45 years, MaryEllen (Erskine) Wakeman; two sons, Kevin Wakeman and Timothy Wakeman; two grandsons, Isaiah Wakeman and Elijah Wakeman; four brothers, David Wakeman, Peter Wakeman, Kenneth Wakeman and Philip Wakeman; as well as nieces, nephews and cousins.
