Joe David Miller Obituary
Funeral services for Joe David Miller, 85, of Bonham, will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, February 6, 2025 in Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Kevin Towery will officiate. Burial will follow in Moores Chapel Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday night at the funeral home. 

Joe David Miller was born June 18, 1939 in the Cotton Center Community of Fannin County, Texas, the son of David Miller and Mayme Jo Goyne Miller. He was a 1957 graduate of Bonham High School and received his Masters degree from East Texas State University in Commerce, Texas. Joe David coached and taught at Bryan Adams High School in Dallas and Denison ISD. Following his years as an educator and coach, he returned to Bonham where he took over his fathers construction company. Joe David married the love of his life, Donna Lou Altom on July 5, 1963 in Durant, Oklahoma. He served on the Moores Chapel Cemetery Board and was caretaker for many years. Joe David was a true people person and leaves behind a legacy of hard work and dedication for his family and friends. He enjoyed visiting around town at the various coffee drinkers locations
