GILLESPIE - Daniel Joseph Gillespie, age 53 of Ada, passed away Saturday, November 6, 2010. He was preceded in death by his father, Terry Gillespie and parents-in-law, Herbert & Myrl Wandel. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Mary; children, Michael (Ginger) Buckley and Terence Gillespie; grandson, Bradley Hutson II; mother, Barbara Gillespie; brothers & sisters, Kathleen (Brian) Flanagan, Tom, Pat (Carol), Sarah Gillespie, Peggy (Adelle) Pittman; brother-in-law, Carl (Roberta) Wandel; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many special friends. Dan spent his life caring for others before himself. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Tuesday 11:00 AM at St. Robert of Newminster Church, 6477 Ada Dr. SE, Rev. Leonard Sudlik, presiding. Interment Ada Cemetery. Visitation Sunday 6-8 PM and Monday 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the O'Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel, 3980 Cascade Rd. SE. Memorial contributions may be to the charity of one's choice.
