Timothy Jonathan Kishkorn of Rockford, Michigan, age 58, entered eternal life on Saturday, March 7, 2015. Tim was born to William S. and Nella (Kroschell) Kishkorn on Friday, January 11, 1957 in Grand Rapids, where he lived most of his life. Tim was a loving and devoted husband, wonderful brother, and dear friend. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister Barbara Lehr; brothers Steven L. Kishkorn and George Tofferi. He is survived by his beloved wife Kathleen Kishkorn; cherished uncle Henk Kroschell; brothers William F. (Leona) Kishkorn and Robert (Shirley) Tofferi; sisters Judith Kamarainen and Patricia "Toof" (Kenneth) Barnes; fifteen nieces and nephews; and three step-children. A special thanks to Tim's best friend, confidante and mentor, Bruce Madden, who stood by him through the good, the bad, and the downright ugly. We all appreciate the way you were always there for him, Bruce. Tim enjoyed many things in life. A lifelong Tigers fan, he rarely missed a game. He loved astronomy, traveling and photograph. He was a book collector and avid reader, who loved the smell and feel of a good book in his hands. Music was a huge part of his life, from the Beatles to opera and everything in between. He was an old soul who loved old movies, the Three Stooges and anything nostalgic. He was also a member of the Grand Rapids Scottish Society and the Grand Rapids Amateur Astronomical Society. A private memorial service will be held for the family. We know that Tim's many friends and co-workers will surely miss his wit and wisdom, and sometimes his weirdness. Therefore, a celebration of his life will take place on a later date.
