Carol A. Meisenbach
MEISENBACH - Carol A. Meisenbach, 51, died from a heart attack on December 17, 2008 at O'Hare Airport returning to her home in FL. She had the biggest, kindest heart in the world and it gave out. Carol was born in Chicago, IL on September 22, 1957, the second of six children (Number 2 daughter as her Dad called her) to Earl E. and Jeanne E. Meisenbach, both deceased, and formerly of Chicago, IL and Grand Rapids, MI. Carol graduated from Catholic Central High School, received a degree in Speech Pathology from Central Michigan University and graduated from Grand Valley State University with an MSW. Carol spent her career as a social worker in MI and FL helping alcoholics and drug addicts, foster children and AIDS patients. She was vigilant in her representation of the defenseless and those less fortunate in their lives. Carol's wit, smile and laugh will be sorely missed by her family, Marie and Leland Graul: Daniel, Matthew, David and Katherine Graul; Nancy and Ray Miner: Katie and Patrick Miner; June and Tim Anderson: Dylan and Emily Anderson; John and Mary Meisenbach: Tyler and Rachel Meisenbach; and Peter and Michelle Meisenbach: Noah, Sarah and Kate Meisenbach; along with her best friend, Jaime Pipp and Gary Deuling. Carol left numerous aunts and uncles, cousins, friends, co-workers and clients that will miss her dearly. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Thomas Pipp, S.J. (Carol's first prom date) and Monsignor William Duncan on Saturday, February 21, 2009, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 2750 Burton St. S.E., Grand Rapids, MI. Visitation with the family will begin at 9:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations
