Smith of Eveleth, Minn., will be
held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday,
April 21, at Trinity Lutheran
Church in Albert Lea. The Rev-
erend Roy M. Hendrickson and
the Rev. Ray Singleton will offi-
ciate. Visitation will be from 5-8
p.m. Friday at Bonnerup Fune-
ral Service, Albert Lea. Inter-
ment will be in Greenwood Cem --
etery, Glenville, Minn. A funeral
service was held at 11 a.m.
Thursday, April 19 at Christ Lu-
theran Church, Eveleth. The
Rev. Clarence Shaffner offi-
ciated. Visitation was from 6-8
p.m. Wednesday at Cron-Sheehy
Funeral Home.
Jason L. Smith, 18, of Eveleth
died Sunday, April 15, 1990, at
St. Lukes Hospital, Duluth, as a
result of injuries sustained in an
auto accident in Jay Cooke State
Park, Saturday, April 14
He was born Oct. 11, 1971, in
Albert Lea and had lived in Eve-
leth since 1987. He had worked
at Andrew Leskar, Inc., C & D
Construction and currently
worked for Ken Washke Motors
in Eveleth. He was a member of
Christ Lutheran Church, Eve-
leth, and formerly a member of
Trinity Lutheran Church, Albert
Lea.
He is survived by his parents,
Durin L. and Paulette M. Smith
of Eveleth; a sister, Lisa A.
Smith, Eveleth; a brother, Dar-
rin S. Smith, Eveleth; paternal
grandparents, Gerald L. and
Ruth Smith, Worthington;
maternal grandparents, William
F. "Bud" and Betty Jenson of
Mesa, Ariz .; paternal great-
grandmother, Josephine Smith
and maternal great-grand-
mother, Sylvia Nelson, both of
Albert Lea; and several aunts,
uncles and cousins.
Pallbearers will be John Reed,
Dale Vanne, Darrin Smith, Ed
Topping, Scott Manseau, Marty
Henschil and Cory Vlaisazlje-
vich.
