Martin Paul Buchheim, 58, passed away peacefully at his home on November 2, 2015. He was born in Wessington Springs on November 25, 1956, to Bernie and Kay (Haddorff) Buchheim. He grew up in Sioux Falls graduating from Lincoln High School in 1975. He enlisted in the US Marine Corp in 1975 and was honorably discharged in 1977. He married Ava Berry on May 1, 1982. From this union two children were born, Lyndsay Marie and Bryce Allen. This union was later dissolved. He was employed at Hutchinson Technology for many years and retired from Telephone Systems and Service in 2009. Martin enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his grandsons. Survivors include his children, Lyndsay (Brett) Keller and Bryce Buchheim, his grandsons, Landon and Calvin Keller, mother Kay Buchheim, siblings Rita (Dan) Renner, Donna (Gene) Jensen, Brett (Marlys) Buchheim, Kristin (Mike) Staudenmier, sister-in-law Virginia Buchheim and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
