Larry Green

Laurence A. "Larry" Green was born April 20, 1957, in Sioux Falls, S.D., to James and Joyce (Koch) Green. Larry was raised in Sioux Falls, where he graduated from Lincoln High School in 1975.
Larry received a bachelor of science degree in biology and chemistry from Wayne State College in 1997.
On Jan. 19, 1985, Larry and Vickie Lynn Anderson were united in marriage at the First Presbyterian Church in Lyons. They had three daughters, Jennifer Ann, Hailey Marie and Heather Lynn. They have made their home in Norfolk for the past 16 years, where Larry was employed as a quality assurance inspector for Nucor Steel.
Larry was a member of First Baptist Church in Norfolk. He was also a member of the Big Brothers/Big Sisters Association and the National Racquetball Association. Larry was an avid fisherman and racquetball player.
Survivors include his wife, Vickie of Norfolk; daughters, Heather at home and Jennifer Green of Sioux Falls; two granddaughters, Kierstan and Ashlyn of Sioux Fall; sisters, Judy Green of Sioux Falls, Laura (Mark) Thompson of Brandon, S.D. and Lisa (Dave) Johnson of Hartford, S.D.; a brother, Jeff (Kristine) Green of Sioux Falls; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Delmar and Sue Anderson of Craig; sister-in-law, Denise (John) Marr of Papillion; brothers-in-law, Delwin (Ann) Anderson of Oakland and Darryl (Joy) Anderson of Columbus; nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Hailey Marie.
Larry and his family were great friends to myself and my family. Our families spent summers at Buffalo Lake South Dakota. Nearly every moment was spent boating and water skiing.
