Comment: After high school I became an RN. My husband and I moved to Billings Mt in 1981. We had our first two children there. I worked for several years in the NICU and then I got started in hospital quality. After 12 years in Billings we moved to Wichita KS where our third son was born and I completed my Masters degree. I continued my career there in hospital administration. In 2012 I accepted a job with the University of Florida, still in hospital administration, and we moved to Jacksonville Florida where we still live today. I love to explore and try new things both in the US and around the world. We have been able to explore all over the US as we moved around over the years. These last few years I’ve been traveling more outside of the US and hope to do more when I retire in 2026. I enjoy being outside, kayaking, hiking, swimming.

I went off to Cornell U after Shaker graduation, and headed back to the Albany area summers to work at Allegheny Ludlum Steel (Personnel/Industrial Relations Depts), the Public Employee Relations Board, and a semester in the NYS Legislature (office of the Labor Committee chair). After college, headed off to Tennessee and later Pennsylvania on a corporate Employee Relations training program. Then moved to Massachusetts to continue work over the years in Human Resources in manufacturing, high tech, and pharmaceutical companies, while getting M.S. in Management part-time from Boston University. I finally settled just over the border in Nashua, New Hampshire, and it has been home for many years. I take advantage of nearby Boston for theater, music, museums, and sights, & love the NH mountains, seacoast, and woods for hiking, walking and all winter sports – appreciate the outdoors so much! I enjoy lots of concerts, and theater, too. Over the years have enjoyed a little teaching on the side, chorus membership, theater and concert volunteer ushering, hiking group membership and other sports, reading, and gardening. I try to stay curious and keep moving! 😊
