Occupation: Retired

Comment: After college, I worked in the construction industry for 5 yrs. during which time I met the love of my life, my soulmate, and promptly married her.

Not too long afterwards, we decided to join the United States Army. After traveling the world serving our great country and serving in the Iraq war, I decided to retired from U.S. Army after 25 years. I then continued my federal civil service for another 15 years, retiring in 2023.

Together my wife Alice and I have 6 fantastic children and 9 wonderful grandchildren. We love traveling and playing golf. Currently we live in our home town of Cohoes, NY where I'm restoring our late 19th century Victorian home.

Comment: It would be impossible to list all the people we have benefited the past 50 years: at our jobs; the family, neighbors, and coworkers we have assisted; volunteer work done (our thanks to the Reunion Committee). Since designed into humans is an innate desire to serve and produce, our paid and unpaid work has been gratifying. Love fittingly describes our services. Perhaps unknowingly, individually and cumulatively, we have infused lots of love into our communities.
I first moved to Colorado in 1979, where I have raised a family, and am now enjoying the grandchildren. I enjoy outdoor sports (skiing, hiking, river running, sailing) with my wife Laura, but we are just as delighted at home and work as we are on a ski trail. It will be pleasurable to see all of you. Thank you for the positive affects you have had on my life.

Comment: Dashed out of HS graduation before it was over, figurin' they could change their minds at any time. Set the lowest cumulative average at HVCC for three semesters, then joined the Marines. The Marines made a difference, then college, but dashed out of RPI and Texas A&M graduations early too, figurin' they could change their minds at any time too. Dabbled in Aerospace at the Air Force Rocket Propulsion Lab for 10 years, then did some propulsion research at Johns Hopkins for a decade or so. Got married, fathered a remarkably handsome son, no surprise there, then moved into the rocket propulsion industry managing incredibly large programs for 14 years. Decided that was too much stress, so retired a bit early to Florida, tending to family, shelter, and the day-to-day. Vacationing and traveling as opportunities present themselves. Looking forward to mingling with my Great SHS Classmates from 1975, and grateful for the opportunity to do so. Used to go Froggin' with Danny Ferris, so probably lookin' at a pretty good discount here . . .
