I started out working for Albany Dodge in 1976 as an auto technician. I quickly moved up the ranks and was soon managing dealership service departments for 24 years. Took over a family owned bar in Mechanicville from 2011-2016. During that time I went to work for a tire distribution company called TCI (Tire Centers Inc) in Albany. TCI merged and now work for NTW National Tire Wholes ale) in Conway SC. I've worked in Albany, Oregon, Vermont and now South Carolina. Looking forward to the reunion. It's been 40 years since I've been to the last one. |

My husband and I lived 40 years outside of the Capital District. We lived in Liverpool, NY, Marietta, GA & the Dallas Fort Worth area. We returned back to the Capital District 4 years ago to be closer to our kids & grandchildren. I retired after 35 years in Education. I was a public school Speech Pathologist for 26 of those years and then worked in Training & Implementation with a Reading & Math Curriculum Company. We have 4 grandchildren. |

Since Shaker graduation , I had enjoyed camping all over the Adirondacks, along with traveling to Hampton Beach & Atlantic City. Most of my life I have lived in a few towns around the Capital District of New York with a short time in Waco , Texas . I currently live in Philmont, New York. I started working right out of high school at several different jobs including Montgomery Wards, BFI & CountyWaste as well as a tow truck operator on weekends. I enjoyed that until some health issues that lead to Disability from ankle injury that resulted in several surgeries and rehab. I’m looking forward to the reunion and hopefully see friends I haven’t seen in a long time, including my long time high school friend George Hathaway who has since moved to Florida . |

I began working for New York State at 23 and eventually landed a permanent position, launching a career I genuinely loved and remained in until retirement. I feel very fortunate to have spent those years doing work that was both meaningful and fulfilling. Jim and I have been married for 40 years. We still live in our home in Colonie and are proud parents of two amazing sons, both of whom have found love and are now building exciting new chapters of their own. Now that we’re both retired, Jim and I stay active by setting new goals, playing pickleball, and traveling. One of our favorite destinations is Marco Island, Florida, where my parents live on the beach. It’s a place full of family memories and beautiful sunsets. It’s also been a joy to work with the Class of ’75 reunion committee to help prepare for this milestone event. It’s hard to believe how quickly the time has flown. I’m truly looking forward to seeing everyone again—sharing stories, laughter, and reflecting on the amazing journeys we’ve all taken. Every day is a gift. |
