Comment: After graduation I went to Buffalo State College to earn my bachelor's degree and then my master’s degree in special education. I worked as a teacher in Western New York for 5 years then came back to the Adirondacks. I taught for our BOCES for 27 years. I loved my job, it was very fulfilling. It gave me the opportunity to not only teach children but also work with their parents, our staff and districts. I retired in 2015.
My husband Ed and I are celebrating our 30th anniversary this year. Through the years we were able to travel extensively to the Caribbean islands. St Croix being one of our favorites! Retirement has been wonderful for the past 10 years. We traveled up and down the east coast in our motorhome avoiding the cold northeastern winters.
It's so hard to believe it's been 50 years since we all graduated. I'm looking so forward to seeing everyone, catching up with old friends and meeting new ones!!

Comment: I am submitting this after the reunion but just wanted to thank Emery, Mary, Roy and the rest of the committee for really outdoing yourselves. What a wonderful event that lasted the weekend. I can image the many hours spent planning & organizing. Many thanks to you all!

New Hampshire has been my home and I especially love being on the coast. I graduated in Food and Nutrition, went on to work in the travel field in Atlanta and then moved back north to be closer to family. I worked in the Passport Office before retiring and upon retiring decided it was time to do something I had talked about for years, hike the Appalachian Trail. What a great experience from the other hikers, to the hostels, the trail angels and the many that support the trail. I have completed 1500 of the 2200 miles.

Comment: My journey since our graduation has had many blessings with my family & career & like most of us, have experienced loss of loved ones. Now retired after 35 year career from PepsiCo , my greatest joy has been with family & friends. Having raised 2 children who live in NY & Pa respectfully. Tragically lost my wife of 37 years , however now enjoying retirement with 5 grandchildren along with a passion of history, the Adirondacks & travel.

So grateful for living to see this milestone in our lives & look forward to seeing old & making new friends at our gathering.
