Comment: After graduating from Plattsburgh in 1979, I moved to San Diego. Thought I'd stay there a few years...which became a lot of years! It's been a great place for my career. The weather isn't bad either. Retired in 2017 and have traveled a lot since then. Favorite trips: Ireland, South America, Europe and beyond! Can't wait to play Pickleball at the Reunion with my Classmates!

Comment: After Shaker my family moved to Ohio and I graduated from Miami of Ohio. I worked in various HR roles for 25 years at The Washington Post and 10 years at the University of North Carolina. I have been married for 40 years with 2 kids. Retirement is great and in addition to hobbies , we have spent a lot of last few years traveling. I am looking forward to coming as the last time I was in Latham was for our 25th reunion.

I was married for 46 years to my high school sweetheart Tim Sheehy (Shaker 1976) but recently lost him in March 2024. We did have one son, Steven.

Comment: Right now, I am relishing retirement with my husband of 45 years, Scott, and we are living in the Cincinnati/Dayton area. We enjoy cooking, golf, pickleball, hiking, biking, skiing, gardening, concerts, and spending time with our family whenever we can. Over the years we have travelled a bit, enjoying Italy, Germany, Austria, and Hungary as well as the Canadian Rockies.
After moving to the Cincinnati area in 2007 for my husband's job with GE Aviation, we were thrilled that both of our children followed us to the area.
More recently our daughter and her husband moved to Breckenridge, Colorado, giving us a wonderful opportunity to enjoy all the area has to offer, while our son and his wife and family still live in the area, providing us with lots of time with our three grandchildren.
I ended my working years in elementary education as a preschool teacher and director. I loved my work… my students gave me reasons to smile and laugh each day!
Currently I am working part-time at an assisted living facility. I really enjoy interacting with the residents. When you take the time to talk with them you find they have had very interesting and sometimes amazing lives, and they enjoy the chance to share their stories.
