Milton - Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Milton, LA for Eddie Jude Lewis, Jr., 49, who died August 25, 2011 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center.

Services will be conducted by Fr. Jason Mouton. Interment will be in St. Anne Catholic Church Cemetery in Youngsville, LA.

Eddie, Jr. will best be remembered for his witty personality, that trademark smile and the love he had for God and his family. He enjoyed the simple things in life – loving his wife, raising his sons, enjoying his grandchildren, loving his parents and siblings, working hard as a farmer, hunting and fishing. If one word could describe Eddie Jr. it would be “LOVE.”

He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Bernard Lewis of Youngsville, LA; three sons, Eddie Jude Lewis III (Krystal), Jordan James Lewis and Hunter Jude Lewis, all of Youngsville, LA; two grandchildren, Eddie Jude Lewis IV and Khloe Madison Lewis; his parents, Lilly and Eddie Lewis, Sr. of Youngsville, LA; one sister, Karen Lewis of Youngsville, LA and one brother, Kenry James Lewis, Sr.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Wayne Joseph Lewis; his paternal grandparents, Alcide and Bertha Lewis; his maternal grandparents, Joseph Nursey Boudreaux and Ophelia Boudreaux and his father-in-law, James Bernard.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at St. Joseph Catholic Church from 7 a.m. until time of service.

A rosary will be recited at 9 a.m.
