aniel J. Ralston of Bartlett, formerly of Streamwood Funeral services for Daniel J. Ralston, 49, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Road (at Stearns Road), Bartlett. The Rev. Fred Pesek will officiate. Born Jan. 17, 1953, in Prince George County, Md., he died Saturday, Feb. 16, 2002, at home. Mr. Ralston was a member of Carpenters Local #839. He loved woodworking and remodeling. Daniel was the beloved husband of Barbara (nee Kowalczyk) and a loving father and grandfather. He was also the devoted son of Norvell and Doris (nee Brady) Ralston; dear brother of Carolyn (Loren) Tollefson of Carpentersville, his twin, Michael Ralston of Belvidere, Rebecca Davenport of Streamwood, and Wayne (Sheila) Ralston of Crystal Lake; and dear son-in-law of Evelyn Kowalczyk of Chicago. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations to cancer research would be appreciated.
