Joseph "Joe" Hecker, age 65, of Elgin, formerly of Hoffman Estates. Beloved husband of Janet (Ewen) Hecker, Loving father of Christine (Rick) Gill, Tina (Jeff) Cutrara, fond brother of Alice (Mike deceased) Skoneczka, Patti Hecker (Kurt Moehling), Richard Jr. (Theresa) Hecker, exceptional grandfather of Brooklyn and Richard Joseph Gill, Jr., son-In-Law of Jack and Florence Ewen, Preceded in death by his parents Richard Sr. and Alice Hecker. Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Retired employee with the Village of Schaumburg for 32 years. Joe passed away on Oct. 25, following a brief illness, surrounded by his loving family. A great guy who will be missed by so many, especially his cheers as a devoted fan of the Cubs, Bears & Blackhawks. Memorial visitation for Joe will be held on Monday, Oct. 30, from 3 to time of service at 8 PM at Ahlgrim & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, 330 W. Golf Road, Schaumburg.
